Biography
Dr. Hui Zhang completed her M.D. and Ph.D at China Medical University, Shenyang, China in 2003 and 2011, respectively. She worked as a pediatrician in Shengjing Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University during 2003-2012. She finished his postdoctoral training in Cardiovascular Pulmonary Research, School of Medicine, University of Colorado under the guidance of Dr. Kurt Stenmark in 2015. Since then, she has been promoted to the position of Instructor, Cardiovascular Pulmonary Research Laboratories, Departments of Pediatrics and Medicine, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, CO, USA.
Research Interest
My research interests focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of the cardiovascular remodeling of pulmonary hypertension (PH) to develop new therapeutic strategies to treat PH. I am also interested in the research of lung injury and lung fibrosis.
